About Me

I have long ago realized that making a plan is great…but more often than not, I end up taking a different path.

One day, I decided that what I was doing wasn’t making me happy and I didn’t want to live my life like that.  So, I changed.  I left my well paying job in logistics and moved to China.  That decision was pivotal in my life.

Since teaching English in China, I have worked as a kiteboarding/landboarding/paddleboarding instructor, been a sales rep for a kiteboarding company, been a paid blogger, worked customer service for a kiteboarding weather website, been a crossfit coach and a personal trainer.  My adventures have taken me to live in Savannah and Miami in the U.S. and further away to China, Aruba and now Chile.  In the middle of all of that, I have had the amazing opportunity to travel to Spain (twice), Mexico, Argentina (twice), Peru, Colombia, Thailand, Bali and soon will be adding the Philippines and Cambodia to the list.

I am almost always in some state of flux in my life, but I have grown to embrace and roll with the change.  I accept that some things in my life will be stable and others not and even then, in a blink of an eye, everything can change and you have to move with it!

I do this blog partly to promote myself as a coach, but more to share thoughts.  I love to write, even if I am sometimes a bit lazy about it.  This blog could literally contain anything.  To me, it doesn’t matter if 1 or 1 million people read it.  However, if you do…I hope you enjoy the ride with me!
