The Road to Recovery: Update

Well, about a week and a half ago I was put into my aircast.  On Tuesday of this week, I began the week long process of weaning myself off of the crutches.  When I first got my hard cast off, I could barely move my foot.  Now, I can comfortably move it with about 50% of the range of motion back (totally my biased and lay diagnosis of the range of motion!).  Every day, it gets easier to put a little weight on it.  The swelling is starting to go down!  Things are moving along really nicely!  On Tuesday, I start hitting the weights and on Wednesday, I start walking around Forsyth to build muscle back up!  So far, I have 5 1/2 weeks left in the cast, 6 weeks before I can start teaching and 10 weeks before I can ride again!
